CATALYST Varsity and JV are in full swing of creating our winter competition programs. Please check our calendar on a regular basis for updates of performances and competitions. Our first competition is January 21, 2012. See you in the gym!

Take Flight Competition - February 4, 2012. Preparations will begin over the next couple of weeks...so be ready to jump in and TAKE FLIGHT to help Catalyst reach success!

About Us

Catalyst: [kat-l-ist] -noun 1. something that causes activity between two or more persons or forces. 2. a person or thing that precipitates an event or change.
Catalyst Color Guard is the current and three time Texas State Champion. During marching season we, perform and compete as part of the Dawson Eagle Marching band. Catalyst brings the music to life with Flags, Rifles, Sabers, Theatrics and Dance. Catalyst performs at all football games and marching competitions. The rest of the year, we compete indoors as a Winter Guard. We have both Varsity and Junior Varsity competing units that have won Texas Color Guard State Championships. We also compete in Winter Guard International's Texas regionials and WGI World Championships. As individuals, we compete in solo and ensembles. We also have an intense four day June camp where we put a complete competition program on the floor for a performance on the final night. Auditions

Auditions for the 2012 - 2013 Catalyst Color Guard will be April 23 - 27, 2012.

Rehearsals daily at the Bailey Road Campus Gym from 4:30 - 6:30. Auditions will be on Friday the 27th.

More information can be found in the front office of each school starting April 4, 2012
